This is a picture of The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church-Three Bells of Fira on the island of Santorini. The white and blue design comes from Greeks, while under rule from the Ottoman Turks (1500s – 1821), who used ecological paint to represent national pride. Latter 1967 – 1974 it became a military mandate as part of a political agenda.
